Privacy Policy

How personal information submitted through this website is collected, used, stored and disclosed.

Last updated: 18 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, stored and disclosed through this website. It is written to reflect the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and, where they apply, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who we are

This website is operated by Paul Anthony Norris-Ongso in connection with KinPath Surrogacy. If you have any question about this policy or about how your information is handled, you can contact us using the enquiry form on this site.

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, and the limited technical data your browser sends automatically.

  • Information you submit. When you complete the confidential enquiry form we collect your name, email address, country of residence, the stage of your journey, and any background notes you write.
  • Correspondence. If you email us or reply to us, we keep that correspondence.
  • Technical data. Our web server records standard request information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used for security and to keep the site running.

We do not ask for, and you should not send, sensitive information such as medical records, financial account details or identity documents through this website.

Why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and to discuss whether and how we may be able to assist you.
  • To maintain a record of our correspondence with you.
  • To secure, maintain and improve this website.
  • To meet any legal or regulatory obligation that applies to us.

Where the GDPR applies, our lawful bases are your consent (which you give by submitting the form), our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and securing the site, and compliance with legal obligations.

Sensitive personal information

Enquiries about surrogacy may touch on health, family circumstances or sexual orientation. We treat anything you tell us as confidential. We collect this information only because you have chosen to share it in order to receive a response, and we use it for no other purpose.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.

We may disclose information to service providers who help operate this site and our business — for example our web host and email provider — and only so far as they need it to provide that service. We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law.

If your enquiry progresses and it becomes necessary to involve a clinic, agency or legal practitioner, we will discuss that with you first and will not pass on your information without your agreement.

Overseas disclosure

Our service providers, and any partners involved in a cross-border program, may be located outside Australia. Where personal information is transferred overseas we take reasonable steps to ensure it continues to be handled consistently with this policy.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept only as long as needed for the purpose they were given, and to meet our record-keeping obligations. You may ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

Security

Information submitted through this site is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored on access-controlled systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses only the cookies necessary to operate it, such as a session cookie for the administrator login. If analytics are enabled in future, this policy will be updated to say what is collected and how to opt out. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the public pages of this site work without them.

Your rights

You may ask us to:

  • confirm what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy of it;
  • correct information that is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete;
  • delete your information, where we are not required to keep it; and
  • stop using your information, or withdraw a consent you previously gave.

Contact us using the enquiry form on this site and we will respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or, in the EU or UK, to your local supervisory authority.

Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Third-party links

This site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.

Nothing here is legal advice

This policy describes how this website handles information. It is not legal advice, and it does not create a lawyer-client relationship. Paul Anthony Norris-Ongso is not a current Australian legal practitioner and does not provide legal advice or representation.
